British European Auto Tour 2006

Mark your calendars for the 9th annual B.E.A.T.  Drive, April 22-23 '06.  Each year we try and bring to the event something new and exciting.  Where else can you participate in a "Best Sounding Exhaust" Contest, meet the Governor of Arizona and go from shirt sleeve driving weather to snow in Flagstaff? This year we've decided to add another contest to the tour. You're going to want to find out how to mount the B.E.A.T. license plate to your vehicle to collect the best "bug splat"!  That's right, some lucky driver is going to win a great prize for having the best bug splat on the B.E.A.T. license plate.  The winner will be determined in Cottonwood where we plan on having individual pictures again taken for handing out at Sunday's group breakfast. Also to be determined, "The Most Desirable Car" decision.  So, what do we need to make all of this happen?  Why, you of course.  The history and purpose of the B.E.A.T. event is to enable multi-marque owners of British / European cars to get together and enjoy each other's cars and the camaraderie it develops.  So, what can you do to help to make this year's event the success of previous years?  First of all, participate.  Help spread the word, let your car club know of the event, see to it that it's included in your club newsletter or get a name back to me and I'll contact them.  If each of us contacts one club or tells a friend, we each contribute to the success we all want.  We've already received several applications, so visit the web site, download the information & application page and we look forward to your participation.
